Advertising Policy

This Advertising Policy explains how TradeReply Advertising works, who may advertise, where ads may appear, what targeting is available, and the standards that apply to creatives, destinations, billing, Marketplace advertising, review, and enforcement.

TradeReply operates its own advertising platform. Stripe supports payment infrastructure. AWS S3 and CloudFront support creative storage and delivery infrastructure. TradeReply does not use Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager, Meta Audience Network, Kevel, AdButler, or another outside ad network to operate TradeReply Advertising.

Detailed advertiser terms may also apply in addition to this policy. This document has not been presented as a legal counsel review certificate and should be read together with applicable TradeReply terms, policies, and any advertiser-specific agreements.

1. Advertiser eligibility

Any eligible authenticated TradeReply member may create an advertiser account. A paid TradeReply subscription is not required to advertise. Free, Essential, Plus, Premium, and active trial members can advertise, subject to eligibility.

Accounts that are suspended, restricted, or scheduled for deletion are not eligible. TradeReply membership and TradeReply Advertising are separate products. Free members must meet the same advertiser eligibility, payment, review, and policy requirements as other advertisers.

2. Advertiser account requirements

Advertisers must complete required advertiser account setup, provide accurate business or identity information where requested, maintain a compliant payment method for prepaid wallet funding, and keep campaign creatives and destinations within this policy.

Advertisers remain responsible for their campaigns, claims, destinations, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Approved advertising surfaces

Ads appear only on approved content, discovery, community, and Marketplace surfaces. Advertising is placement-sensitive, not subscription-sensitive. Every placement is added deliberately to a specific surface. There is no site-wide ad injector, and paid inventory never replaces organic content.

  • Community: the right rail, and native units placed between posts in the feed. An ad never replaces a post.
  • Blog: between major sections of the index, and after an article before the next-article module.
  • Education: within the index listing and in the article sidebar.
  • Marketplace: clearly labelled sponsored listings, kept separate from organic ranking.
  • Additional discovery surfaces: planned and approved inventory may include selected homepage content boundaries, relevant category pages, clearly separated sponsored search blocks, and calculator result boundaries where an ad cannot be confused with financial output.

4. Excluded surfaces

Third-party ads do not appear in dashboards, trading analytics, account management, authentication, checkout, billing, security, support, or policy workflows. That includes:

  • Dashboards and trading analytics
  • Account settings, security, and privacy
  • Cart, checkout, billing, orders, and invoices
  • Sign-in, registration, password reset, and two-factor authentication
  • Refunds, disputes, and seller fulfilment
  • Support, policy, and status pages

This is enforced in the product — there is no ad slot on those pages to fill.

5. Audience eligibility

Anonymous visitors, Free members, trial members, and paid members may see ads on approved surfaces. Whether someone sees an ad depends on which page they are on and applicable targeting or preference settings, not solely on what they pay.

No TradeReply plan is sold as completely ad-free. Paid plans are about analytics, higher limits, broker syncing, support, and seller fees.

6. Available targeting

Advertisers may target using:

  • Audience segment (logged-out, Free, trial, or paid)
  • Country or region
  • Language
  • Device class
  • Contextual page topic
  • Approved placement

Contextual targeting is the default. Advertising preferences and applicable consent requirements are respected.

Why this ad?

TradeReply shows first-party ads on approved content and community surfaces. Ads are selected from TradeReply's own advertising platform using placement, audience segment, device, country/language where available, and contextual page topic — not a third-party ad network auction in the browser.

You may see an ad because you visited an eligible page, match an advertiser's allowed audience or geo settings, or because a contextual category matches the page. Frequency is capped. When cookie or personalization consent is not available, TradeReply uses session-level identifiers only.

Use Report on the ad unit to flag policy concerns. Manage cookies via Cookie Settings in the footer, and personalization preferences in your account privacy settings when signed in. See also the Advertiser Terms.

7. Prohibited targeting

Private trading activity is not available for targeting. Advertisers do not receive private TradeReply member identities and do not receive private trading or portfolio data.

Targeting is not offered and not permitted using:

  • Portfolio holdings
  • Traded symbols
  • Trade history
  • Profit or loss
  • Account value
  • Deposits or withdrawals
  • Broker connections
  • Private strategies
  • Private dashboards
  • Individual Marketplace purchases
  • Member identity

Advertisers receive aggregate campaign reporting only. They do not receive member identities.

8. Creative standards

Creatives must be clear, accurate, and suitable for a trading audience. Ads may not imitate TradeReply account, billing, security, staff, or system messages. Ads may not imitate organic community posts or editorial content in a deceptive way.

Creative assets must use approved image formats and meet TradeReply review requirements before a paid campaign can run.

9. Destination standards

Destinations must match the creative and campaign claims, remain reachable for review, and must not use deceptive redirects, malware, phishing, credential harvesting, or destinations that impersonate TradeReply.

Destinations and creatives are reviewed before paid campaigns can run.

10. Prohibited advertising

TradeReply does not accept advertising that includes:

  • Guaranteed-profit or risk-free-trading claims
  • Pump-and-dump promotions
  • Token presales
  • Binary options
  • Impersonation
  • Fake reviews
  • Fabricated results
  • Deceptive account-balance, profit, or financial screenshots
  • Advertiser-supplied scripts, pixels, or ad cookies that bypass TradeReply delivery and measurement

TradeReply also does not offer guest posts, email campaigns, ads in dashboards or account workflows, or targeting based on private trading activity.

11. Restricted financial categories

Higher-risk financial categories may require supporting documentation and additional review. That includes broker- dealers, investment advisers, crypto exchanges, prop firms, signal and copy-trading services, margin and leverage products, and performance claims.

Submission of documentation does not guarantee approval.

12. Ad labelling

Every paid unit is labelled Ad, Advertisement, or Sponsored, and shows the advertiser's identity. Paid placements must remain visually distinct from organic and editorial content.

13. Pricing and billing

Advertising campaigns are prepaid through a separate advertising wallet. Campaign-level and daily budget controls help advertisers manage spend. Campaigns may buy on a CPM or CPC basis.

  • CPM: charged per thousand valid viewable impressions. A page response or DOM render alone is not a billable impression. A viewable impression requires at least half of the ad to remain visible for at least one continuous second on a visible page.
  • CPC: charged when a click is validated through TradeReply's signed click and redirect flow.

Published rate cards may change over time. This policy does not publish specific CPM or CPC prices.

14. Invalid traffic

Invalid traffic is not billed. Duplicate, invalid, replayed, or otherwise disqualified impressions and clicks identified by TradeReply are not charged against the advertising wallet.

15. Marketplace advertising

Marketplace selling and Marketplace advertising are separate products. A seller can use either product without being required to use the other.

Eligible sellers may promote eligible Marketplace listings they own through clearly labelled sponsored placements. Sponsored Marketplace listings remain separate from organic ranking and never replace all organic results. Sponsored cards use current Marketplace listing information.

Attribution is limited to qualifying promoted order items and does not claim unrelated products in the same cart.

16. Review and enforcement

Every paid creative and destination is reviewed before launch. TradeReply may approve, reject, request changes, pause, or disable creatives and campaigns that violate this policy, applicable terms, or applicable law.

Funding a campaign does not guarantee approval. Approval does not guarantee delivery, reach, or results.

17. Suspension and disabling

TradeReply may suspend advertiser accounts, pause campaigns, or disable creatives where eligibility, payment, policy, fraud, security, destination, or trust concerns arise. Suspension or disabling may occur before, during, or after a campaign runs.

18. Refunds and disputes

Advertising wallet funds, campaign charges, and any refund or dispute handling are governed by applicable TradeReply advertiser terms, payment-provider rules, and the facts of each case. This policy does not create a guaranteed refund window or automatic refund right.

Invalid traffic identified by TradeReply is not billed. Questions about charges may be raised through TradeReply support.

19. No endorsement

Creative approval is not a TradeReply endorsement of an advertiser, product, service, claim, destination, or investment opportunity.

20. No performance guarantee

Advertising performance is not guaranteed. Review or approval does not guarantee reach, impressions, clicks, conversions, sales, Marketplace purchases, or return on ad spend.
